As a once a week treat for your dry, sensitive skin, apply a mask made with one beaten egg yolk and a teaspoon of olive oil. Allow to sit and nourish your skin for 15 minutes then remove with a cotton ball dipped in tepid milk. Your skin will be re-hydrated and nourished.
Oily skin types should use fruits as the base for their face masks, rather than cream or egg. Use a mask of half milk and half strawberry juice, mixed with one egg white to lighten skin and open pores, encouraging the skin to release the oil so they may be wiped away.
Puree some cooked carrots or pumpkin in a blender and aim to end up with 3tsbp of puree. Add to a bowl containing 60ml/2fl oz of natural, Greek style yoghurt and 3tbsp runny honey. Combine thoroughly. Run a warm, not hot bath, and slather your face and body with the mask. Relax in the bath for 10-20 minutes and then rinse off in a warm shower.
